Title: Trump gets closer to banning Huawei from U.S. territories
Post by: Redaktion on May 15, 2019, 20:06:34
Huawei was supposed to be banned from U.S. territories in late 2018, but the trade negotiations between the U.S. and China delayed the process a few times. Now that both countries are exchanging blows with increased trade tariffs, president Trump could finally pull the trigger on the Huawei ban. Meanwhile some allied nations are still willing to work with Huawei for 5G network implementation, and the U.S. is not happy.

Well China Unicom's decision to use Ericsson instead of Huawei in its 5G network has already drawn flak from all sorts of jingoist propaganda in China.

Huawei is the only brand of electronics that we hate doing security research on. They won't let us present any findings, constantly badgers us and threatens us to cut off this or that unless we agree. Huawei sucks and is a giant political entity disguised as a private company to gain western sympathy.

_ Huawei strengthens the position of the leader of smartphones.
_ The US government resents the "loss of profit" on Apple devices (in the world ratio of % on mobile devices).
_ Donald Trump starts the China Spies PR campaign and bans Huwai's devices.
_ A later, the president of America meets with the Chinese side.
_ Trump: "we agreed." And removes bans.
(Ie it turns out the equipment is no longer spyware?!).
_
_ Then the states forget their "agreements" and sing "Spyware" again.

What kind of nonsense?!

What kind of nonsense is yours?
Huawei is now on the Bureau of Industry and Security's Entity List, which has never happened before. When Huawei sold electronics containing US technology to Iran using a shell, which is illegal by US law, the US has discretion to prosecute, or not to, just as Meng Wanzhou was caught with 4 foreign passports, which is illegal by Chinese law, which China may choose to prosecute, or not to, and has obviously chosen not to.
Now the US chooses to act, on grounds that Huawei "engaged in activities that are contrary to U.S. national security or foreign policy interest", which from the Iran incident alone is proven true.

...Huawei is now on the Bureau of Industry and Security's Entity List...

I am not particularly interested in the question of politics (there are a lot of things ...).
You just say the phrases used by the media.

I have a specific logical chain question. And you did not answer it.

If you first argue that the ball is black, then "remove this statement", and then again say that the ball is black.

How not to call it, but the ball does not change from the names of its color.

I don't think you received college education. You should know that minute differences between legal terms mean a lot. Also you're just CCTV's parrot, who whitewash Huawei without a shred of evidence. At least the US compiled a report which the Chinese never actually disputed line by line, only denied in principle, which means nothing.

When people cannot think and operate adequately with arguments, they turn on emotions and go ... low level of name-calling and so far.

Or do you work for the media or a political party?

The question is not whether the corporation is spying or not. Let's assume they are spying. It does not change the essence of my question.

I asked about the logical chain of statements [and not the Chinese side] if you can read.

And yes, I'm far from China.

The only reason you're still asking for the "logical chain of statements" is your lack of capacity for basic understanding of the replies you're given. I will not further waste time on you.
"You just say the phrases used by the media." You were only trying very hard to call me something which you lacked the vocabulary for without displaying a shred of adequate argument.
