Title: Opera 58 now available, but without any major changes
Post by: Redaktion on January 24, 2019, 11:12:21
Opera 58 is the first new build of the year, but there are no big changes inside it. The new version comes with a warning when trying to close a window with multiple tabs open, as well as Yandex Zen news recommendation service integration into the start page for those using the browser in Russian.

I don't even understand why people, as mass, even talk about opera,
after it sold out to google, while "Vivaldi" browser exists.
The recreation of old Opera (>v12) by the workers of old Opera.
I dare you, find something that is amiss in Vivaldi, that new opera has
and old opera did not. Vivaldi should have the throne.
I was a serious old opera fanboy :)

Vivaldi crashed a few times on me over the last few months. Opera is rock-solid. Vivaldi sometimes starts eating up memory and ends up freezing/crashing without no reason. Oh, yeah, and Vivaldi has no mobile version yet. I dropped Opera when they moved to Chromium first, but more recently I got back to it and I think it's a good browser once again.
