The new Alienware m17 is essentially the 17-inch version of the existing Alienware m15. Dell will launch the laptop later this month with next generation Nvidia Turing Max-Q graphics.

I'm really hating this thinness trend on gaming laptops. It reduces everything : cooling performance {and thus CPU and GPU performance and probably louder fans), ports selection, key travel, storage options, battery, upgradeability, maintenence, and more. All for the sake of reducing a few millimeters and grams?
+ Portability cause it reduces the weight. Thin bezels are a good thing especially for the screen. Same goes for the neutral design instead of these flashy colors and logo (even if the design of the m15/17 is still awful...). If people want bulky laptops that you never carry with when moving outside, better buy a desktop PC, it's better for what you said (storage, upgreadability, GPU and CPU power, cost less...)
