Apple's CEO, Tim Cook, has had to start his new year by sending an open letter to Apple's investors in which the company's revenues for the first fiscal quarter of 2019 are revised downwards. Cook cites factors such as the increased strength of the US dollar as reasons for his new estimates. However, areas in which Apple performed well in 2018 were also highlighted in the letter.
