A test feature rolled-out by Instagram has been met with the apparent universal disapproval of the social network's army of fans. The updated software meant Instagram users had to swipe through feeds in a horizontal manner rather than via the tried and tested vertical scrolling method. Unsurprisingly, the update was rapidly rolled back.

Instagram is so horrible of an app, it is the WORST written app for android. Insta is the only app I know of that cant rotate 180. Insta can freeze without any reason when you open it. Insta can send you notifications from unread messages from one chat endlessly untill you read it even if you close the notification with your finger. Insta can say that you have unread message via number on its icon, but when you open it, there is no unread messages.
