Title: Can you fix your own 2018 MacBook? An internal Apple report says no, but iFixit says yes

An internal service document recently leaked from within Apple states that no-one but company staff and Authorized Apple Service Providers (AASPs) can repair or replace most MacBook 2018 and iMac Pro components without the devices becoming inoperable. However, iFixit has claimed to have done so with a MacBook Pro - and nothing happened.

I like the Macbook Pro but after this how could one possibly support this company.

Apple has done these and more bad practices ever since the start, only now they rolled in tighter restrictions on the end user, they are not the first company to act this way.
