The popular and consistently accurate leaker evleaks has tweeted a set of renders that match what many people now think of as the Pixel 3 and 3 XL exactly. The larger of the two phones persists in exhibiting an honestly colossal-looking notch. It appears Google are conclusively out of surprises for their next smartphone launch event.

I tried Google Camera ported to GN8 and their merge algorithm (at least for JPG) is genuinely impressive, what's bound to generate artifacts in LR turns out clean ~90% of the time in GC, not to mention low light is out of the question for LR. The downside is that DNG support was never matured, a slight push/pull generates strange halos, both in LR and in Google's own Snapseed, this greatly limits the use of the output.
If Pixel3's DNG turns out usable, they've got themselves another impressive feat.
