Is it also vulnerable via USB port? You can control almost any Android device via USB port, even with locked screen. You can also upload a new malicious firmware that way.

Android has no security and never will have any.

No idea what this has to do with the article. Also, you're wrong. You need usb debugging permissions and and unlocked bootloader to mess with a device's firmware.
