Sony's forthcoming flagship refresh, the XZ3 has leaded in fresh renders. Not only will it get a curved edge display, it looks like it will be the recipient of Sony's new 48MP camera module.

really? at first try to beat n808 in daylight.
For sure it won't, and they're probably not even trying to achieve that. Huawei's one to boast and if challenged in public may blow their performance out of proportion but it's determined that the P20P, with the first "quad bayer" sensor to hit the market, cannot remotely match the 808's daylight performance.
I can't see this smaller sensor with higher pixel density performing much better than the 1/1.7" 40MP quad bayer, unless the one Huawei obtained was intentionally handicapped.
