Qualcomm China has put out a teaser related to a 'faster', 'cooler', and 'smarter' Snapdragon technology on its official Weibo page. While details are still scarce, all indications point to Qualcomm announcing its version of Huawei's GPU Turbo feature, which will in probability be called Adreno Turbo.

These both just sound like shifting the driver model for the OS to Vulkan over OpenGL. Little else would have that kind of free gain with power reduction and performance improvement at the same time.
