Lenovo launches the first model of its well-known ThinkPad-line of laptops with the new Intel Coffee-Lake hexa-core processors. The new ThinkPad P52 is not only the first ThinkPad workstation with those new CPUs, its also Lenovo's first VR-ready mobile workstation in the more compact 15.6-inch size with the new Nvidia Quadro P3200.

Will it throttle like RX550 @ Thinkpad E480?
Because even T580 has one cooling fan. Lenovo engineers are true to himself to the very end.
Quoteit will be offered with the new Nvidia Quadro P3200, which is based on the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060.
AFAIK the GTX1060 is a GP106 chip, while the P3200 is a GP104. The older P3000 was based off GP106; that's why the 3200 has such a massive performance increase.
Note that Lenovo did it again. All marketing pictures shows the FHD screen version only. The 4K one (there is NO non-touch screen option!) touch screen looks ugly as there is glossy panel with additional matte layer over it.
