Title: Barclays: Apple won't include Lightning to 3.5mm adapter this year
Post by: Redaktion on April 30, 2018, 23:15:09
Barclay's analyst Blayne Curtis is predicting that Apple will stop bundling the Lightning to 3.5mm audio adapter with the iPhone released this fall. If this prediction comes true, iPhone users that want wired audio would have to separately purchase the adapter at a small (but annoying) additional cost.

I guess audiophiles who are stuck with Apple for one reason or another also need a phone with good audio and a traditional jack, or maybe a standalone HiFi market. Those might be niche products, but once you get to use one with a solid set of headphones... there's no going back to anything below.
