Title: Purported Galaxy S9 benchmark scores are no match for the iPhone X
Post by: Redaktion on November 19, 2017, 08:21:36
Benchmarks of a purported Samsung Galaxy S9 model have surfaced on Geekbench. While the scores show it to be one of the fastest Android flagships, it still is miles behind the iPhone X.

iPhone's new chip has more cache and silicon, which means it can be faster. Qualcomm must be waiting until they move to 7nm to do that. Same with Samsung's own home brewed chip.

How have you guys not realized geekbench is a bad benchmark, especially for comparing different platforms? Compare the iPhone chipset to some of Intel's desktop processors and ask yourself why, according to geekbench, the mobile chip seems more powerful.

Seriously, nobody try to ask himself " how is that possible that an iphone scores 2x a Snapdragon 835 only at Geekbench ?".

Apple optimised his phone to have high score at this test, that's all, and it's called "cheating".

Only a few reviewers and youtubers have mentioned this scam, why ?
