Title: The entry-level MX110 and MX130 GPU product pages appear on Nvidia's website
Post by: Redaktion on November 16, 2017, 03:28:53
The previously rumored MX110 and MX130 are now listed on Nvidia's website, and unlike the MX150 that they join these cards are Maxwell based rather than Pascal. Based on Nvidia's performance figures these cards provide around 38 to 63 percent of the performance from an MX150.

Seems like Asus is releasing the UX410UF, which is a version of the UX410 with an MX130, probably.

MX150 laptops price are very close to 1050 GPU laptops, I think MX150 is worst you can buy currently compared to performance gain.

When it comes to your standard "larger body" commodity laptop, that holds true. But when you look at the TDP ratings of the two chips (25 W for MX150, and 40-50 W for the GTX 1050), you can see that Nvidia has designed them for different notebook types.

The MX150 is well suited to thin-and-light designs (e.g. Xiaomi Mi Air 13, HP Envy 13, Spectre x360).
