Post by: Redaktion on October 30, 2017, 12:35:47
The XPG SX6000 NVMe SSD offers the best value on the market right now. For only US$145, gamers and video editing pros can benefit from 1 GB/s read speeds and 800 MB/s write speeds. The M.2-2280 form factor is designed to fit both desktops and laptops. ADATA also provides 128 GB, 256 GB and 1 TB variants.

Hi Predatux, the Surface Pro 4 isn't designed to be user accessible (glued), and you can easily break the screen, cables, antennae etc fairly easily so we recommend returning it to Microsoft, especially if it is still under warranty. However, it does use a standard M.2 2280 NVMe SSD, so drives with the same capacities that the SP4 sells with should be compatible, but it isn't something that people can easily test.

If you just need storage then grab a large MicroSD card, or a fast external drive might suit your purpose.
