Microsoft could launch a foldable Surface device in 2018, if rumors prove accurate. The device would be a spiritual successor to the cancelled Courier device first revealed in 2008.

Wow, and I thought I was about to read some real info. It seems notebookcheck has also jumped aboard the band wagon of rumors and guessing. If I wanted to do that, I'd have popped open WindowsCentral.

Please, stick to the facts. No more rumors about Surface Phone, Andromeda, "Ultimate mobile device" and suspected release dates. Precursors of this product were rumored to launch in 2014 (https://www.t3.com/news/microsoft-surface-phone-rumours-release-date-specs-and-images), 2015, 2016, 2017... hope you see where I'm getting at. MS will announce when they see fit.
