The Vampire V4 by Apollo Team is a standalone or upgrade kit for Amiga computer systems that will significantly upgrade the capabilities of the original as well as modernize I/O. The V4 will be available by Christmas of 2017 and will cost north of €120.

Just curious about the purpose of this upgrade - why upgrade an old machine like this if software/games aren't being developed for it anymore, as the old system would run the old software just fine?  Or is new software being developed that can take advantage of the improvements?

New software and games are being made for amiga all the time. The community is stronger than ever. We want to see how much we can push this old beast
