Looks familiar... Not a lot has changed with regard to the design of the MSI GP62 notebook over the years—but it's what's inside that counts, right? Today's review unit features a Core i7-7700HQ paired with a GTX 1050 Ti. How does it compare to its peers in the budget gaming category?

♠ The CPU part of heatsink looks cheap, it seems it is secret only by thin plate.
♠ Everyone must notice the battery is tremendously nearby the heat pipes.
♠ Slow card reader is big rip off. On eBay, USB 3.0 card (90 MB/s) reader costs $2. MSI is cutting costs?
♠ Issuing TN for IPS is counterfeit marketing. Only  gamut is above average.

What is the red tint in the photo of the "LCD in shade"? Does LCD have RGB backlight OR white LEDS? Is battery detachable? (I noticed individual 18650 cells)
