Title: Acer Aspire ES1-533-P7WA Notebook Review
Post by: Redaktion on January 07, 2017, 19:40:01
Full-HD Home Office. This new 15.6 inch model from Acer sports a matte FHD screen - a rare sight in the low-price segment. The laptops has a lot of storage space and creates low emissions: a simple home office notebook.

I recently bought this computer thinking I would be able to run Linux Ubuntu in addition to Windows. No chance! The BIOS or UEFI as it has become is so basic that there are no options to do this. My previous laptop an Acer 5333 which had bios did this with no problem. The support team are not interested in anything other than Windows.

Very strange on your heatmap (load), RAM spot caused highest temperatures?

Maybe use Kingston memory + add heatsinks for each spot on memory.

SSD is pretty average, could be better. If you want reduce idle / load W, change to 850 evo, with improved write and readings.
