Strong and heavy. This 13.3-inch convertible is built tough, but its size and average display brightness make it more of an indoor tablet.

Inspired by Lenovo ? These flickering low-PWM frequency on all brightness levels screens are Lenovo speciality this year.

Maybe you should concider completly new kind of test for battery: Battery life without sceen flickering! It would be same tests as you do now but with screen brightness level possibly lowest without screen flickering. 
So users would know how long they can use laptops without eyes hurting?

Would this rig with 12gb of ram and a 512gb SSD be good for photo editing on an amateur level??
