Can SOMEONE please explain to me how Apple manages to release buggy version of its OS (both iOS and OSX), again and again, when:
- they release the original version of new OS update to their own timetable
- they only have to get it working on their own hardware, not many hundreds of widely different machines like Microsoft has to?
- they have hundreds of billions of dollars in the bank, so resourcing costs is not an issue.
I think the answer can be only one - market pressure. And all that comes with it. Sure, nobody forces them to launch faster, APPARENTLY. However, shareholders have their expectations. Everyone has expectations. The press wants something new. This is what drives useless so-called inovation forward. Sometimes there is absolutely no need to improve what works as intended. Think about the Koss Porta Pro headphones, for example. ;)
