Title: Gaming in 4K
Post by: Redaktion on May 05, 2015, 09:37:10
Pixel Junkies. What was impossible a few years back, is now slowly becoming reality: gaming at resolutions far above the standard 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. We tested multiple notebook GPUs with 3 of the latest games. Are we ready for 4K?

You should do an SLI version of this review, mobile and desktop, with the same cards

would also love if msi's external gpu supporting 13" laptop was featured (was it MSI Ghost? maybe even with a Titan X, just to make a point)

I reckon it would be interesting & useful for you to include 4K results in future, but perhaps only for the graphics card that have a chance of handling it, otherwise there's no point in testing them at 4K.  And SamB had a good idea there to include sli results, because that's even more relevant for 4K!

At the moment I think 4K is a waste in notebooks for gaming, even with say 980M sli, but over the next 2 generations of mobile hardware I reckon it will become feasible.

Could you include less demanding games like Diablo 3 and Tomb Raider ?They are more likely to run on notebooks in 4k.The 4k section is nice though.
