Title: Asus Zenbook UX303LA Subnotebook Review
Post by: Redaktion on April 15, 2015, 23:33:19
Well-rounded indeed. The Zenbook doesn't just impress with its looks alone. The subnotebook also delights with good input devices, a long battery life and low emissions.

First of all, thank you guys for all what you are doing! I am reading Notebookcheck.net all the time because you have most adequate, detailed and fair reviews.
My question is: Does the new UX303 ship with the sleeve and Ethernet adapter? Because I just received mine and there were no sleeve or adapter in the box.
Thanks for your help!

Hello,

Our accessories did indeed have adapters and a sleeve for the notebook out of the box. Perhaps it is only regional, but certainly check with your seller.

Our outdoor display test and other missing information can be found in our UX303LN review since this UX303LA page is only a small update.

Bought this laptop and loved it for about 12 months.  Then the hinge broke, and of course ASUS support is the worst.  They wouldn't help me and then told me they didn't even carry repair parts for their own products.  After taking it apart to attempt to fix it myself I realized why it broke.  The hinge is screwed into cheap brittle plastic on the inside of the LCD cover.  I had to take the bigger pieces of the plastic that broke and carefully epoxy them back together.  I managed to fix it somewhat but it looks like crap, but works for now.  After looking through several forums and reviews online I'm definitely not the only one with this issue, hundreds of other posts with ASUS denying fault and not wanting to help.  Don't buy ASUS you will feel like you got ripped off and cheated if not right away soon.
