you talked about an otg usb hub able to charge AND connect an usb device
Please can you give a reference as I'm looking for some

I do want to connect a usb device and be able to charge it at the same time

The OTG cable from dx mention above does not charge the Lenovo, only the USB peripherals.

The only solution I found to charge and have other USB peripherals at the same time for Lenovo Miix 3 8" 1030 is this one:

It works with other Windows 8.x tablets as well. Check the manufacturer compatibility list. Let also the manufacturer know the device you are using when ordering to make sure it will work with your tablet.

I find the physical keyboard to be something quite difficult to get used to. The number keys are shifted one space to the right and I keep hitting the delete key instead of the backspace. I have to shift between a standard keyboard at work and this so it makes it harder to adjust. The onscreen keyboard is also different as when you shift to the number keys, they are clustered in a number pad layout instead of in a line over the top.  Not quite happy with the overall typing experience.  😐

encounter connectivity issues with the external keyboard. it doesn't connect regularly and works only at times. is there a special way for the tablet to be inserted.
