I want to know the will it support external Ram of 8GB , that will make total 12GB ?

My laptop is Asus X555L. OS is Win 8.1, yesterday I lost the Audio. No audio drivers seems to be. I reinstall the audio drivers form original driver pack. But audio is not recognized.
