Title: Lenovo IdeaPad G50-45 Notebook Review Update
Post by: Redaktion on September 10, 2014, 09:01:39
Value for money marvel with an AMD core? For low 370 Euros, Lenovo's G50-45 entry-level model has quite a few highlights: a quad-core APU and a hybrid hard drive are a real buying incentive in this category. But is that enough to compete with rivals based on Intel technology?

Beema nad Mullins do not have a dual-channel memory controller (as is mentioned in the review), so this request is pointless.

I'm experiencing extreme gradient banding with this laptop. No fixes from Lenovo :( If I noticed it earlier I would not have bought it... Total fail!

Very disappointed with the loading time. Too slow even compared with my older Acer Aspire year 2005. Just imagine, it takes about 30 seconds just to loading the Google Chrome.. too bad!

This notebook is a combination of innovative thinking  along  with lots of awesome features and outstanding performance, excellent Intel Celeron Quad Core 2.1 GHz processor Speed, 2 GB RAM, Clarity, features are awesome. It has great battery back up and does not heat much. With recent price cut it makes it a worthy laptop to own. For more product info visit

I bought the IdeaPad G50-45 with 8 GB of RAM and a Terrabyte drive for $399.  It runs great after you take out all the bloatware.  It is so quite I often think the laptop isn't working. The response times are amazing for a low end laptop. The  A6 6310 is a great deal! It runs as good as my Nephews I3 HP that he paid $300 more for.  You can't go wrong for the price.  I had an Acer with the A6 6560 that was a great laptop as well but this Lenovo blows it away.  Would recommend to anyone on a budget.
