XoticPC is now offering their version of this laptop chassis: the Phantom X1. Still not sure where the chassis comes from, Clevo or some other manufacturer. The Raven X6 is still a better deal than the Phantom X1, however because the base model is about the same but it comes with an SSD and a couple other better specs.
Yeah, you're right, a SSD is always the thing to get when talking about any kind of computer, especially a gaming laptop.
