Angeblich baut Google mit seiner Tochter Motorola selber am Nexus 6 mit Codenamen "Shamu". In den Benchmarks GFXBench und AnTuTu gewährt das Motorola Shamu als möglicher Nexus-6-Kandidat jetzt Einblicke in die Ausstattung des Smartphones.

Motorola gehört zu Lenovo. Google hält lediglich diverse Patente, nicht jedoch die Mobilfunkproduktion.
