From 10 to 30 within a year. After the Z10's launch, the Canadian manufacturer takes a shot with its new Z30 model. Blackberry uses hardware and software from the same source - thus meeting the demands on both is all the more difficult a task.

No mention of the fact that Blackberry BB10 includes the Android 4.2 runtime (4.3 coming with Blackberry 10.3 due in Nov), and you can install android apps using many third party app installers or go formal by installing the Amazon Android app store. Support for all Android apps are not great, but with the 10.3 update things should improve.
Further USB mode without Blackberry link is possible if you go and check a setting in Setting>Storage.
