Well, I was impressed enough with the Flex 10. Enough that I actually went ahead and bought one.
Day one, exciting. Figured I'd actually use it as my primary work machine. So purchased and installed Office. Purchased and installed Avira AV. Figured I'd update to Windows 8.1. All good till this point.
Restarted the machine and there's no response from the keyboard. Okay, so the device has a touch-screen. Restart again. Whammo. The screen goes dead. No I/O systems at all. Just the system 'on' indicator light and a low hum from the machine (so the HDD's working).

Called up the seller, they throw their hands up and say - contact Lenovo. Right, so called up Lenovo. They say, it's time to replace the motherboard (yes we know about planned obsolescence, but this is ridiculous).  Will they change the machine? NO. So wait four days and call for an update. Am told the motherboard is unavailable and will take a 'minimum' of 20 days for Lenovo to figure out the status.

Depressing. So I tweet them. No response.

As of now: Machine bought, doesn't work. Software bought, can't use. General state of mind - tragic waste.
