Title: Review HP ProBook 430-G1 Notebook
Post by: Redaktion on November 05, 2013, 06:45:54
Unrivaled. A cheap business entry level laptop in a 13 inch format and the latest ULV processor, the Intel Core i5 4200U, from HP. This slim model weighs a mere 1.6 kgs and wants to be recognized as a serious mobile companion.

i own this laptop, and am extremely frustrated with it. The performance in day to day use is miserable. Browsing with 20 tabs open, it grinds to a halt, although ram usage is at 60% and CPU usage at 1%, and can't figure why that is.
I would have expected from a new laptop to just work. my 6 yr old lenovo T420, similar configuration, worked smoother.

Rubbish. Came with all that usual HP bloatware which was a little annoying and caused connectivity issues.

I've had it about 4 months with only lite use and it just stopped working right now. Black screen and wont turn back on. I'm happy I'll be able to take this thing back to the shop and get something else instead.

In Norway these are used in high school and everybody complain about them. They have all sorts of problems, especially hard drive, screen and wlan problems. It also have alot of software problems and bloatware. I managed to keep mine alive for 2 years but it was dying badly when i spilled my beer on it (might have been intensional). STAY AWAY FROM THESE!!!!!!
