Title: Review Gigabyte Padbook S1185 Convertible
Post by: Redaktion on November 01, 2013, 08:43:33
Padbook. A small track point is the characteristic feature of Gigabyte's latest Windows convertible (Windows 8). The other components are also interesting: A Core i5 processor in combination with a Full HD IPS display and an attachable keyboard. Can the device convince us in practice?

What I like about this machine is its connectivity - particularly having a VGA and HDMI connector. I use it a lot for presentations and I don't always know what options I'll have at the other end. Apart from that, it's fast and works well as a good portable notebook. I find the whole Windows 8 tablet experience a bit clunky generally so I won't criticize Gigabyte for that side of it.
