I bought z1 one week ago ... checked all ... there are problems..
1/it shows - emergency services blocked on notice bar .. there is no any solution for that.
2/ On "brightness" adapt to lighting condition - if set on this mode the device either switch off/on frequently or does not display any ... just blind screen... this might be manufacturing defect ...
it seems impossible or due to some errors tht difference between wlan on and 150 cdm / wlan off min brightness is only 40 minutes... and i asked to myself when someone do a "whatsappy test", with wlan off but 3g data on with exchange in a day, 80% luminosity...
i brought xperia z1 2 weeks ago...and m very much disappointed with its performance.inspite of updating the handset yesterday it often hangs,discharges fastly,clicks blur images...and also heating effect is very much...
in short z1 really sucks...i wish i cud refund it
Games Performance 54%? Why is the rating so low? Description says "plenty of gaming power", "masters all games" and it's only 54% ? Something is not right here...
Beware the mysterious Sony cracking screen - it does it while your phone is in your pocket! More importantly be aware of Sony's refusal to acknowledge the problem = no refunds. Mine cracked for no reason after 10 days. I have one and people, this one is a warrior!! Expensive, but put anyone outside the race if you want performance, best camera qualities, android, and forget biometric sensors, that like 5 years ago laptops, are not useful and will be gone.
Battery time can be clearly better if you just close some apps you literally don't use everyday. C'mon, be smart. It is like a laptop....just have a good management and you will get the best from Z1.
Amazing camera, design, is a small computer, amazing! I had used a lot of smartphones, but this one, is amazing!
This review was amazing, the best in the internet and the most complete. I can accept that battery does not survive a lot of time (in theory, because if you are a smart user, and use WIFI location option and stamina, it increments battery at least twice!), but bad viewing angle????? Are you kidding?? really!??? If you are a normal person: 1) you don't notice any difference. 2) yes, the phone was not made to be seen from 90º angle............!!!
