What is up with all these 10-12 inch tablets in the top convertible section?  Whats with the surface in the list, if it has a detachable keyboard that is not a convertible that is a tablet with a keyboard you can attach. The people that are looking at convertibles are looking for the power of a laptop combined with the input flexibility of a tablet.  They will want a little bigger screen like a 12-15 inch, more processing power and quite a few of them will want a powerful GPU like Nvidia or ATI.

FOR WEEKS NOW I've been trying to find a good solid all around notebook convertible.  Really like the tent mode.  powerful enough to play current video games on medium settings.  Almost bought an Alienware (non convertible)

Came upon the ASUS Q551LN 15.6" Touch-Screen Laptop.  hard drive can be swapped out for an SSD along with memory upgrade

really good reviews with an actual 24 minute you tube video on how to DIY upgrades

my thanks to the writers and reviewers in here that do a tremendous job sifting through the mind dazzling number of laptops out there along with their insight of processors and video cards.  WONDERFUL JOB!  Your site is bookmarked on my browser.

I think you should fix you give a review for the Thinkpad yoga 14 2nd generation, you used to have a review of the 1st generation. Even the link you provided is wrong, they don't sell it on Lenovo and Amazon. It's Bestbuy exclusive.

I don't get the scoring mechanism. How is the Surface Book with an m3 processor ahead of the i7 variant?

Why is the Lenovo X1 Yoga not in the list? It scored 85% when you reviewed this convertible laptop!

I think the Cooler Master NotePal ErgoStand Lite (http://www.gadgets-reviews.com/review/145-how-to-choose-a-tray-for-a-gaming-laptop.html) the best choise for notebook. Even better then all of them. My friend used it already and i want to buy it. ;)

I've consistently recommend notebookcheck as a great objective resource for years. However, I think what you're doing here is what many other sites do, tailor your reviews to suit price points rather than actual features. Focusing on the L380 Yoga, there's a very small difference in performance between it and the much higher price models, and in fact the L380 Yoga is the only model that can take 32GB RAM, which makes it head and shoulders better for some types of heavy lifting compared to the others. Yet, with a four core i7 processor it's apparently only good for word processing? Is it maybe the case isn't rigid enough, and other workloads demand dropping the computer on the floor?

Notebookcheck would also be doing a more consistent job if you'd determine whether the wifi performance was due to your model, as implied in the review, or a problem with the design generally.

Really? No Acer Spin 5 or Nitro 5 Spin? A budget convertible with a GTX 1050 and no mention of it?

If I need the best convertible today, I'd go with XPS 13 2 in 1. Best performance, lightweight, good run time, best built quality. The i7 FHD configuration with 32g ram and 512 ssd is only $1700 plus tax.

Dell XPS 13 9300 is not a convertible and shouldn't be in this list.

Yet no AMD convertibles? Why?
Less heat, more performance with tiny chip.

How about BIG convertibles ? (convertibles with 15.6" touchscreens or bigger). Why aren't any of them in your ranking ?

Big convertibles need a category on their own !!!

For example the LG Gram 16T90P.
Or the Lenovo Yoga 7 15ITL5.
Or the Asus ZenBook Flip 15 UX564 / Q538EI.
Or the Dell Inspiron 17 7706.
Or the HP Envy x360.
You get the idea.

ROG Flow X13 destroys everything on this list, especially value for money. It should not be excluded just because it can moonlight as a gaming laptop.

In Australia Acer has overall rating of about 1.9 stars out of 5. Regraded as a 4th rate laptop maker, good on features but garbage quality.
