Post by: Redaktion on June 08, 2013, 20:58:23
Strong. MSI launches an updated version of the popular GT70 gaming laptop based on the brand new CPU and GPU generation. It spoils Gamers with a quad-core from Intel\'s Haswell family and a high-end scion from nVidia\'s GeForce 700 range. We snatched the GT70H-80M4811B, which is one of the premium models, and put it through its paces.

Do I need an adapter to make the mSATA slot available for normal Hard drive or SSD?

no u dont, its got three msata slots, and one 2.5" HDD slot.  you can put in 3 msata in raid 0, and maybe take out blueray/dvd for a 2nd 2.5" hdd slot and raid two HDDs together, or raid 5 SSDs together that way.

Hello all, a quick question about GT70H-80M4811B (Killer N1202 Wireless LAN 802.11 a/b/g/n and Killer E2200 Gaming-Netzwerkkarte). Does this model have WiDi technology, somehow I cant find it anywhere.

Only Intel wireless cards provide WiDi tech.  Bigfoot Killer cards don't have it.

I'm a little alarmed to see that the CPU in this review is throttling itself. Are you sure that the cooling system ins adequate? I do think that cooling a high end CPU and a top of the line GPU should not be done with just 1 fan.
