Title: Review Samsung Galaxy S4 GT-I9505 Smartphone
Post by: Redaktion on May 18, 2013, 23:41:25
Evolutionary update of a bestseller. Samsung managed to sell more than 40 million copies of the Galaxy S III. Now the successor has been released, set to trump the flagship of 2012. The Galaxy S4 ships with a Full HD Super AMOLED display, a quadcore CPU and all kinds of gimmicky features. But is this enough to defend the top spot?

Where are the Asus Padfone 2 or the Padfone Infinity?
They are good devices to compare to the S4, so why not to mention them?

"....like a giant Swiss army knife. Ranging from the remote control for a Smart TV and a fitness coach to a travel guide, the Galaxy S4 is capable of replacing numerous other devices and services that we use in our daily lives."  - that is what the Galaxy line was always noted for, so no need to carry a separate FM Radio. BUT, they killed the FM Radio that was in previous versions and is in the HTC One.   You also didnt mention the lack of OIS which is in the HTC One and the new Nokia's to allow lower ISO, i.e less Noise in low-light pics.

Very comprehensive review. The best review I've ever seen on anything electronic.

I've had ny eye on a Samsung phone since seeing the one my building engineer had a couple of years ago.

Until just recently, I have been very pro iPhone. But after playing with the S4 for a few days at the tmobile store, I have to say the S4 blows my iphone4 away.  I'm not interested in the newest iPhone because the screen size is woefully inadequate in relation to what is now available. The S4 screen is not too big and not too  small. It's just the right size.

I'm a little concerned about the apps I've been using on the iPhone that have really enhanced my productivity at work, but so far from what I've test driven on the S4, word, PDF & document apps look just as good on the S4 AND I can be reunited with the best calendar app of all-time, DateBk5 by Pimlico Software!!!!! A truly great app ( I don't work for them ).

Rest in Peach Steve.  Apple ain't your fathers Apple no more.

As of this date, it really is the best model phone--very utilitarian with added sophistication and aesthetics.
