Title: Review Acer Aspire V3-571G-53238G1TMaii Notebook
Post by: Redaktion on February 23, 2013, 05:59:35
Unique selling point. Acer seems to have understood the times and went for a matte FullHD IPS panel for the new variant of their Aspire V3-571G. Add the brand new Nividia Geforce GT 730M, a potent dual-core processor and 8 GB of RAM to that, and you've got a good line of components to pique a buyer's interest. Wondering how this update of the Aspire V3 turned out? You'll find out in this review.

now day all factory decrease the battery size . i prefer bigger battery pack rather always looking for AC socket. althought Ac adapter is 400g , the increase size battery pack also will add around 300g. but no wire is better user exprince.
at least 5 hours for wifi is minimum for me

I have this one right now and truly this can be considered a multimedia laptop.  True, that battery is not its cup of tea but the gaming capability of the unit can be put to the test.  The nvidia gt640m can really deliver, playing batman arkham city, crysis 2 and 3, saints row, payday the heist, anno 2070, prototype 2 you name it.  The optimus functionality is okay if for basic computing but gaming better use the ac.  The specs of the unit is quite future proof so this is an investment for the next two years. Acer is quite moving up to the usability of its new multimedia units.  My unit is i5-2450m 2.5ghz; gt 640m 2 gig dedicated vram; 15.6 hd lcd; 4gb ram and 750gb hd. Hooray for Acer!

I have been using this laptop in i7 3630Qm and GT730 configuraiton and I wrote a full review here http://forum.notebookreview.com/acer/717456-acer-aspire-v3-571g-736b8g1tmaii-review-awesome-gaming-laptop-ips-screen-those-budget.html

In short: it's a good laptop for the money that has a fantastic, class-leading IPS screen (it is beautiful), and will play most of my games (RTS) at mid-high details often at 1080p resolution thanks to the powerful CPU which powers through anything I throw at it.

Build quality is good and solid (much better than my old Dell), speakers are "ok", battery life is distinclty average, and the keyboard is imo quite stiff and difficult to type on, requiring a lot of pressure for keypresses, which isn't ideal for lots of typing. However, stick in a full-size external keyboard (like you should whenever possible when typing a lot) and all those problems dissappear.

All in all though, it's a great deal, and you won't get better for the money. No laptops of this price range have such an amazing screen and good overall spec. :)

I bought one with intel i7-3620QM, it is a good laptop, and great IPS FHD display, but I'm very disappointed with sound quality. I had hp dv6 with Beats audio and it is much better and louder sound. and why noteboockcheck doesn't rate sound quality (??%) like other criteria.

Is the ICC profile the calibrated version or the defaults read by the colorimeter?

Hi there, thank you for great review. A question - what is the part number for this laptop? For example, the on the Acer website, the Acer Aspire V3-571G-73638G1TMakk's is NX.M69EK.001.

Also, does anyone know if this laptop http://www.simplyacer.com/Acer_Aspire_V3-571G_1318329.html (http://www.simplyacer.com/Acer_Aspire_V3-571G_1318329.html) has the gloss or the new matte screen?

Many Thanks

I think these tests were run at 1366x768 resolution, so if you wish to know how this notebook will go thru games, you should divide all fps results by 2. (in a real FHD resolution)

Still using this laptop in 2020 and it rocks! I have the i7 3632QM model which originally came with 6GB RAM but I upgraded it to 16GB. The HDD was replaced with 512 SSD and the DVD-ROM is taken out and replaced with another hard drive. The wireless card is also changed to WIFI 6 and Bluetooth 5. I use this laptop for programming and i gotta say, it has never dissapointed me, period!
cheers
