 please help me
my s duos 7562 is not working (switching on)
only it gets charging on nothing else
and its made in Vietnam

I had purchased Samsung galaxy duos smartphone GT-S7562 in September 2012 and from the day one the handset is giving below problems. I have written to CEO office for 4 times but all the time they as to visit the service centre. I had submitted my phone thrice to service centre and even they are convinced that the handset is defective but Samsung is just killing time by asking me to visit service centre again and again. Please go thru the problems with this  phone and do not buy this product
1) Operation is extremely slow
2) Phone hangs repeatedly
3) Sometimes the phone does not display the caller name when the phone rings
4) Data upload and transfer is very slow.
5) Touch screen operation is not effective
6) While exiting any application the operation is very slow
7) Sometimes when i go to message box, i can see the contact no.s only. After few seconds the names of contacts start popping up
8) Facebook application also operates very slow on the mobile. It keeps showing loading before displaying details on the screen
9) After taking a photo or video when i want to review it, it takes longer time to load.
10) I have deleted lot of applications from my cellphone due slow operation as well as transferred all the photos, videos to external sd card but there seems to be no improvement
11) while viewing a photo or video there are lot of instances when i tilt the camera by 90 degree, the video or photo does not timely rotate on the screen
12) while using fb application when the details are displayed and i want to scroll the screen, the response is lethargic.

Amazing smartphone for the money 8) - And as the man says: Rock solid. Negative reviews above all bull - Buy it and run it - Youll hardly notice any speeddiff to the top end machines unless youre very uptight - Plus dual sim which is brilliant if you travel or have to carry a workphone etc :)

PRIMARY INTEREST IN THOROUGH UNDERSTANDING OF USAGE INCLUDING DESCRIPTION OF ICONS: HOW TO USE CAMERA, INTERNET WI-FI; etc

I have purchased SAMSUNG GALAXY GT-S7562. I think this is a problematic one. It cannot  transfer the apps to external micro sd card manufacturer is not saying this in any advertisement and delar also not saying this.  Agree to there is more space(2GB) in phone memory but after use more then 1GB phone is going to very slow down.For net user this handset is very bad not supporting 3G speed. Very poor to net download.I think do not spent on this device  Rs.15500

I share the experience of comment #4 by Teja Patel. My available space is 0.95GB and yet the phones response time is staggeringly slow.I also bought an HTC V1 for my son and he laughts at my phone.

Please help to restore confidence on the product

Iwant a program that can pronounce the caller name on this device PLZ

In the Samsung keyboard, the function for handwriting or voice text are not available despite activated in the setting.  Also, there is no option for Chinese keypad.  Would those only be available after downloading from the play store?

It has many problems,  slow performance, incomapatability in software, not to mention the lack of applications It is worth 3 dollars not $300

i m having the problem with video files setting. i installed the MX player for playing flv files because music player doesn't support the flv format and later on somehow i clicked the "use by default" setting while playing the flv file and now when i m trying to play flv file the "choose option" is not coming to select the player, its automatically opening with the music player which doesn't support it and now i m not able to play flv files. plz help me to change the setting as it was before and how to undo the "use by default" setting.

Samsung is in race  of chinese phones make chep Quality phone & charging as per Brand Name, I am using this phone from last 3 month no uses this phone in any segement. >:D

Tejas patel ..Samsung Galaxy S DUOS GT-S7562 had one more problems.. we cannot do VoIP calls from this phone. during VoIP cal voice clarity is 100% bad.. i tried to install  different third party software ..but whole are same result..

I can't use network internet on my phone. Can anyone give me a hand? I already switched on mobile data on the vertical menu.

Worst phone i bought so far.

1.it hangs terribly.even with
Just A few apps installed.
2.it freezes randomly.you have to
Remove battery to be able to use it again
3.when playing music the songs breaks
For half a second a couple of times in
A song.
4.so very2 slow.even if theres much ram left.
5.gps is bad it cannot locate me.even when im Outdoors.

I have Samsung duos dual sim. When i recieve incoming call from Sim 1 i can make it silent by pressing button on top right.But for sim 2 i cant.Please help.

I hav a problem with my S duos freezing Evry moment and thé application play store which cannot be opened anymore please help me because i cannot download anything and olso thé system cannot be updated i dont know why please i need help

It's a SUPER s*** PHONE. After just 2 months of purchase, the handset is giving issue. Unable to send texts, dont get delivered. Unable to make outgoing and incoming calls also get barred frequently. Thought it was network issue but it ins'tPhone hangs terribly. It only looks good but the worst ever handset. Samsung sucks. Am not going for Samsung fones anymore. please don't buy this fone. Am planning to sell this one.

I'm using samsung galaxy trend duos gt s7562 with 16gb internal memory but dont know how to get applications and other files such as music and video files stored on it...makes using the phone kinda boring...also bluetooth connectivity is very bad...it hardly connects to other devices...pls if you have solutions lemme know by emailing me at [email protected]

yes you can  connect this phone with your lap top but you have to down loaded a software ( Kies ) from samsung site and please check the configuration of ur PC. It requires 2.00 GHz CPU speed and 1 Ghz ram. you can  upload your all contacts, music vedio etc from mobile  to Pc and Vice versa.

I am not sure whether to buy this phone. I want international QQ but it appears that Samsung does not have this capability. Maybe I had better buy an iphione. It looks like I can download International QQ on that one

If you know very well, how to use the phone, downloading apps, how to connect into the system (pc), and then it's a very nice mobile. People don't know the above mentioned things and simply commenting bad, poor etc. tell me one thing which mobile is not hanging if you are doing some thing wrong option or operation. Mobile makers are not a fool, they have good R&D department to do the proper testing of all the things very well before introducing to the market. So, do n't talk non sense here.

My 2 month old DUOS GT-S7562 Shuts down automatically. i have not installed any apps since i got it. Today i have upgraded Android version, but no use.i see that when the phone is charging it does not crash. however i am not sure if it is battery issue as on starting the phone, charging remains at the same level as before crash.

this is worst phone and waste of money; better buy micromax or other smart phone. samsung authorized service center themselves saying all s7562 have problem of AUTO SHUTOFF. after visiting 3 times to service center: 1st time - we will replace battery, went inside and clean and bringu back with same battery. next time kept it for repair, 3rd time said it is fixed and then saw their sheet that only sw is reinstalled. what is use of phone if most of the time it auto shuts off and everytime u need to make call, first start the phone by removing battery.

I bought Samsung GT-S7562 and I can not say  I am totally satsified with the quality. The problem is that it is slow and when you use two SIM cards, the phone gets very slow and the quality of calling decreases dramatically so i decided to choose one sim card at a time. Another serious problem is inability to transfer apps from the phone card to external card ( I mean SD ram) which makes the space very small. However, the only advantage is price.

No this is not best but a worst phone. It shuts down frequently. Soon after I purchased it stoped charging, after removal of jack problem its play store has stoped working and despite good WIFI connection play store says no connection, what a non sense.

worst phone.. i bought it 2 months ago. battery drains every 6 to 7 hours... has to be on charge all through the day.. internet speed ls slow even with 3g connection. camera is ok... dont buy and waste ur money

Terrible phone, don't waste your money.  Slow, lacks memory, sometimes you cannot even answer a phone call due to the slow CPU.  Useless expensive hardware.

This mobile is too slow and hang every time. This is bad mobile. I am facing lots of difficulties. :'( :'(

Someone knows the differences between the S7562 and S7562L versions? Speccially in the touch screen (digitilizer), I have to repair my phone and I see a part for 7562 and other for 7562L. Thank you

Having read these comments, I get the impression that there is a concerted effort by a group of people to discredit this phone. The review itself seems quite fair, and is actually more thorough and detailed than I would have expected. I am thinking of buying a used example of this phone, mainly for the dual Sim feature, and I believe that at the price I am quoted (€45) it will be perfectly adequate. It would appear that previous commenters  were hoping to get a Rolls Royce for Mini money.
