Title: Review Acer Aspire S5-391-73514G25akk Ultrabook
Post by: Redaktion on October 03, 2012, 09:19:58
High-end debut. With the 1500 euro (~$1927) ultrabook Aspire S5, Acer wants to attract customers in the luxury segment. In order to achieve this, the manufacturer sets on fast hardware, fine materials, and a couple of interesting features. Is this enough to put pressure on the established competition?

@PG
1366x768 at 13,3" means 118DPI, its as fine as 1920x1080 on 18". Its a very high resolution for this size!
as you can see on your own:

We're gradually moving towards retina displays on laptops. Asus UX31A which is a 13.3" laptop with a 1080p costs €1099. http://www.notebookcheck.net/Review-Asus-Zenbook-Prime-UX31A-Ultrabook.80135.0.html (http://www.notebookcheck.net/Review-Asus-Zenbook-Prime-UX31A-Ultrabook.80135.0.html)

If this is the type of laptop Acer is keen on producing, it's destined to die a slow and painful death as it gets left behind by the competition.
