Title: Borderlands 2 Benchmarked
Post by: Redaktion on September 25, 2012, 07:56:47
Guaranteed fun. What do you get when you mix role-playing and action components and garnish it with cel-shaded looks and a loose sense of humor? Right: Borderlands 2. We looked closer at the colorful, exotic blend and checked Unreal Engine 3's hardware hunger.

Nice review, but I think its slightly inaccurate.  I can play this game with an AMD Radeon 6310M, on medium settings, at around 31 fps

And for all the mac people: The OS X version of the game runs at ~28 FPS on the settings shown here as "med" on a MBA 2012 (1.8GHz Intel 3427 with HD 4000) except the resolution being 1280x800. Playable and a lot of fun. Although I do recommend capping the FPS at 30 as it tends to run up to 42 in some places and heat up the chip to 103 degrees C. And turn FXAA on, it makes the game look a lot better at near zero performance loss.
