Title: Review Fujitsu Lifebook AH532 Notebook
Post by: Redaktion on September 14, 2012, 07:28:29
Multimedia Mirror. The Lifebook AH532 is Fujitsu's logical continuation of the AH530 und AH531 notebooks. The Lifebook AH532 scores with up-to-date processor technology and a new casing.

Bought this one last week with Core i5 3210M, 4 GB RAM and 320 GB HDD for £410.00. Absolutely stunning looks, touch and feel. Will upgrade the RAM though, and add a Samsung SSD 840 Pro drive, for ultimate performance. The only downside so far is Windows 8 (absolute nightmare to work with), but this is hardly Fujitsu's fault. Had to install ClassicShell to make the OS bearable. Overall, great buy, can recommend to anyone.

I had a Fujitsu SH 560 life note book with me. Made in Japan. In one year 10 months the laptop use to get switched off on its own. I took it to a Fujitsu agent in Sri Lanka. I was told the motherboard has to be replaced. The principal never contacted me direct though I sent E mails one after the other. Finally the agent here told me the principal is offering a mother board for Rs 25,000/= which  I thought was rediclious at that time. Anyway since I complained to the principal the agent did a small repair on the laptop but that did not last long. This laptop was purchased in Singapore brand new. I was given advise to buy this product by a computer expert in USA but it seem it was not a good product at all. How can a mother board made in Japan be faulty with in one year & 10 months? I paid about s$ 1100/ to buy this machine. The agent would have done nothing if I did not write to the principal. This is the pathetic situation of buyinging these products. I am very dissapointed & I will never recommend anybody to buy any Fujitsu products. The principal never even bothered to directly contact me at any time. I thought this was very bad of the principal. Miss Fernando

I bought the AH532 in August 2013 and although I use an external keyboard 80% of the time many of the letters on the AH532 keyboard have already begun to fade badly..I brought it in to seller to show them and they said they've never seen this happen before. I'll be sending it back for a new keyboard (which is a pain) but just wondering if anyone else experienced this problem?
Another thing is it keeps going to sleep if I stop working eventhough I keep setting the power settings for longer intervals...otherwise it's a great machine! :-\

press the Fn key in the last line of your keyboard its the second button press and hold that and press the F keys they will work . Wireless problems are created by power saving mode if you turned it on and set disable blutooth to on or wifi to on you wont be able to turn them on .

I own this laptop for 7 years now , and I'm gladly confirm that this laptop , is one of my best buyings ever ! After 7 years of medium to hard usage and still works perfectly !!! I only changed the HDD with an EVO 240 SSD 2 years ago , and I had to replace the battery throughout all this years ! Congrats to Fujitsu !!

I owned this laptop from 2012, now it has been 11 years. Just replace the Hdd to Ssd, upgrade the Original 4Gb ram to 8Gb and buy a new battery. It still works well.
