Awesome review. I was thinking of buying the Z580 but saw on the Lenovo site that the Z585 based on the new amd is coming soon. Should I wait for 2-3 months (does the Z585 release in November?) or should I go for this one or can u suggest a better notebook at this price range?

i have purchased this laptop ...its working awesome....all the latest games run fluently on it....downloads come so easy..and the best thing its so stylish and gives a high performance..i recommend this laptop everyone..
I'm not very happy with this review as i think Leon wasn't fair with this model... I don't know the reason of why he was so hard on her opinions, but i have read several reviews from other websites (Notebookreview, Tech2In, LaptopMag, ...) and they have a lot better opinions about it.

Very informative and detailed review. Just purchased this laptop to use it as a Hackintosh. Some things work OOB, but the wireless card will have to be replaced, etc. Too bad on the screen viewing angle, but I'm not going to be hosting movie parties with it.
For some reason the pictures in the article don't work when trying to expand them, but that may be my work network.
please i need to know which screen is better the one of that lenovo z580 or the screen of hp probook 4540s and wish it can be shown with a video

I am running this laptop since last 3 months. This laptop has one MINOR issue - DISPLAY >:D >:D >:D The display is cheap. No matter how you try, you can't adjust colors properly. Too much black ruins it. You can't differentiate or identify a shade of black. The colors appear surreal. Bad viewing angle. Display is so cheap that you can see bars in all over the color gradients.
Otherwise it is a nice laptop. Super fast 3-4 seconds booting. No heating. In fact it is so cool that, you'd want to stay your hands away during winter days. Negligible noise during normal use.
If you work on graphics, stay away.
Had my Lenovo ideapad z580 and going on replacing the hinges TWICE. The hinges are cheap, then they break away from the bottom casing and that makes an expensive repair. Google about the hinges on this laptop and think twice before buying one.
Can this play new 2014 games like bf hardline? Or far cry 4?
