Post by: Redaktion on August 27, 2012, 09:13:36
On the move? When you're looking for a portable travel companion, chances are that you'll come across the 11 inch Acer Travelmate B113. With its Core i3 processor of the Sandy Bridge generation in combination with the matte screen, it looks like the ideal platform for mobile office and internet users.

Another shitty product from ACER. I got this notebook in nov.2012. After 1 month of use display cracked after the slightest touch. Cooling system sucks, doesn't provide enough airflow for proper cooling (ex playing fifa 07). display wobbles , display joints are poor as every Acer notebook, overall is very fragile poor materials used

bobos, Acer used to make genuine TravelMate laptops, today it seems they stick TM branding to their regular consumer laptops just to boost sales.
I have TM6292 at hand and have absolutely NOTHING bad to say about its build quality, hinges are stiff after 5 years of use, no problems with its other than dead battery and the fact that Windows 7 is slow with 2Gb of DDR2 RAM :)!

Can this run 16 GB of memory (2x8 GB) ??? Everywhere they say 8 GB max, but I have an MSI laptop, where the limit was set to 8 GB as well, but it perfectly runs with 16 GB :-)

Now 10 years old, battery life is 3.5 hours. I installed Windows 10 Pro, 128 GB SSD drive and total 8 GB ram. Windows loads in 15 seconds and shuts down in 5 seconds. It has a lovely keyboard for typing and is the best and most reliable Notebook I have every owned, and I use it daily.
