I have been using Lenovo ideapad for years, and I often had to borrow the laptop adopter from my friends, who were using the same brand of laptops, and I never had to face any compatibility issues. I think, it would not be an issue to buy laptop spares (http://www.7dd.co.uk/laptop-spares) from any online store, if it matches with the make of laptop perfectly.
