Assuming Intel follows the pattern established by previous CPU launches, the company could launch locked Raptor Lake SKUs early next year. PC-Canada has now published product listings for locked Core i3, Core i5, Core i7, and Core i9 Raptor Lake chips. Cache sizes mention here are L3. CPU-s have almost same amount much faster L2 cache. Intel 11-gen increased L2 cache 4 times per core. Latest AMD CPU-s also increased L2 size 2 times. I think it is very important for increased performance.
Anybody knows why many tech reviewers/youtubers still often ignore L2 cache?
L2 is not share by cores, but still fully used when all cores are used.
