Title: Elon Musk would give Tesla the 'license to print money' as it applies for a battery-grade lithium refinery on the Gulf Coast

Elon Musk's "license to print money" comment about refining lithium ore to battery-grade hydroxide has led to an application for Tesla's own lithium refinery on the Gulf Coast. Tesla may build the refinery to comply with the new US EV subsidy requirements for local battery production, too.

Good luck to ya!  I had a Chinese tablet that died after the battery went to zero only a few times.  Took out the battery, brand is American made in China.  Replaced with genuine Chinese battery.  No matter how many times I took the battery to zero, can still charge it back up.  American battery tech lags behind China.  When they quit using Chinese batteries, Tesla cars gonna go the way of Boeing, highly risky death traps no sane country wants to purchase from.
