ASUS has lifted the lid on the ROG Swift OLED PG42UQ, a 42-inch gaming monitor with a high resolution and high refresh rate OLED panel. Also equipped with numerous ports, the ASUS ROG Swift OLED PG42UQ will be available later this quarter for US$1,399.

That matte display is a huge mistake. Nobody is going to use that monitor for office work. Why ruin the display for gaming?

Your guess "not for office work" might be right but [3D] gaming can be done on matte or glare displays, depending on one's preference.
