Let's hope that Apple will use upgraded wifi module in homepod this time. 802.11n in Homepod mini was a joke (and downgrade to 802.11ac in previous model). Homepod mini has many connection issues (especially in mesh wifi environments and when two homepods are working in pair). Look for "I am having trouble connecting to the internet" Siri issue in Google.
802.11ax standard has many enhancements for IoT class devices (more secure with WPA3, more energy efficient with target wake time, improved beamforming and MIMO).
