Title: Next year's LG OLED TV displays could integrate microlens tech to boost peak brightness close to 1500 nits

LG plans to match Samsung's QD-OLED peak brightness with the addition of a microlens layer for next year's OLED.EX panels. This way, LG hopes to boost the brightness from ~900 nits up to 1500 nits and also improve energy efficiency, leading to reduced burn-in probability.

LG got blindsided by Samsung with QD-OLED, they can only do nothing, but add micro-improvements on their now mid-tier WOLED technology

Samsung to tandetna firma. Przez lata utrzymywała, że OLED to nie bo się wypalają itd , wiedząc że te telewizory pozostawiają lata świetle ich LCD . Teraz nagle OLED . Nigdy w życiu Samsunga jak LCD ze słabymi panelami VA a swoje OLED niech ....
