Title: Sony's budget-friendly Bravia X80K 4K HDR TV disappoints in a comprehensive review
Post by: Redaktion on May 10, 2022, 01:22:37
With a lower peak HDR brightness and and even lower contrast ratio, this year's Sony Bravia X80K unfortunately is a step down compared to its immediate predecessor. Only the wide viewing angles of the 60 Hz IPS panel may constitute a reason to buy Sony's cheapest Bravia TV of 2022.

There's seriously no incentive for these large companies to improve, instead they're cutting costs for profit because most average users don't care.

Please, PLEASE don't buy budget or mid-range TVs from the larger companies/name-brands, none of them are good. Instead, look at TCL, Hisense, and Vizio. For example, the TCL 5 or 6 series, the Hisense U6G or above, and the Vizio M7 or the P series.

Any of the highest end TVs (LG C1 and C2, Samsung Q90, etc.) are great, though, because of course they are.

Sir you speak the truth & I ended up with a Q90A last year after a few attempts with some mid-range models.
